The Danish Health and Medicines Authority will be closed on 30 May, the day after Ascension Day. However, we process urgent applications for compassionate use permits (applications for dispensing of non-marketed medicines) and operate a 24-hour emergency service.
Compassionate use permits
Physicians, dentists or veterinarians can submit applications electronically using digital signature or via fax to +45 4488 9117, marking the application "URGENT".
We will be taking questions about compassionate use permits on +45 44 88 95 36 or by mail to udleveringstilladelser@dkma.dk, on Friday 30 May from 10.00 to 15.00.

The DHMA 24-hour service
We operate a 24-hour emergency service to respond to urgent enquiries from authorities such as the police, doctors and environmental institutions, as well as enquiries about radiation protection.
