As from 13 March 2015, Jakob Cold has been appointed Acting Director General of the Danish Health and Medicines Authority. Jakob Cold has been a member of the Board of Directors of the DHMA since October 2013 and is responsible for finance, IT, radiation protection etc.
Anne-Marie Vangsted will continue as Director with special responsibility for the DHMA's supervision.
The organisational change is a consequence of the fact that Else Smith was removed from the position as Director General on 12 March 2015.
The Ministry of Health will advertise the position as Director General for the DHMA.
