The Danish Health and Medicines Authority has appointed Anette Lykke Petri as new Head of Division for Supervision as from 1 March 2015. Anette Lykke Petri will be forming the new management team for Public Health Medical Officers East & Supervision, and in cooperation with the management teams of our decentralised divisions in the western parts of Denmark she will implement our action plan for the supervisory function.
Anette Lykke Petri is a specialist in public health and has worked at the Danish Health and Medicines Authority since 2009, most recently as head of unit and public health medical officer in Public Health Medical Officers East & Supervision. Anette Lykke Petri has a PhD from Rigshospitalet, a degree in health law from the University of Copenhagen and executive training from the Danish Medical Association and Copenhagen Business School.
As Head of Division, Anette Lykke Petri will be responsible for implementing our action plan for the supervisory function. In future, our supervisory function will focus on the areas in which patient safety is most at risk.
The action plan for the supervisory function comprises 25 focus areas and will be implemented in 2015. Focus is on ensuring improved quality, efficiency and clear communication in this area.
